What is HAAM?
HAAM is a 501(C)(3) non-profit agency founded in 1989 by a coalition of 25 religious and community organizations to address the needs expressed by local clergy for a social service agency in the area. Cash and grant contributions as well donations of goods from individuals and organizations, revenue from the resale shop, and grant monies provide the bulk of HAAM's annual budget.

What Services Do We Offer?
HAAM assists families experiencing a temporary crises with services in education, job opportunities, utility, food and housing assistance, and goods through our resale shop. Special projects include Thanksgiving and Christmas baskets as well as school supplies.

Our service areas are in Humble, Kingwood, Atascocita, Huffman, Porter and New Caney as defined by the zip codes of 77336, 77338,77339,77345,77346, 77347, 77365,77396.

Who are We?
HAAM has a small dedicated staff complimented by 1400 volunteers who annually give 47,000 hours of their time to HAAM.
